Welcome to Grants, New Mexico

Welcome to Northwest New Mexico, one of Americas most fascinating areas.  Grants is a community of 9000 people from many cultures and backgrounds. Our climate is mild year round, typical of the high desert. We are located 1 hour west of Albuquerque on I-40.  Our area offers low property taxes, inexpensive housing, the convenience of a nearby large city, and an abundance of open space.

The bottom of this page provides links to local attractions and traveling times.

Attention All Cibola County Residents:  Minimize

Important events sometimes get scheduled on the same day/night  at the same time, forcing people to choose to attend one or the other event.  We are not always informed of important events with enough notice to post them on our calendar.  If an organization knew about the scheduling conflict with enough advance notice, they might choose to reschedule.  We are encouraging the community to call the Chamber of Commerce with their event information so we may keep our new online community calendar current.

Thank you.  1-505-287-4802
